Kanjirappally: Rev. Fr. Joseph Vallamattom was appointed as the new Proto-Cinchellos of the Diocese of Kanjirappally by His excellency Bishop Mar Jose Pullickal. The appointment came soon after Vicar Generals Rev. Fr. Justin Pazheparambil and Monsg. George Aallungal retired from service. Fr. Vallamattom was the vicar of St. Mary’s Church, Podimattom. He will now be overseeing the parishes and priests under the Diocese of Kanjirapally. He is a PhD holder in Liturgy, from the Pontifical Oriental Institute in Rome.
