Kochi: Vincentian Congregation (VC) founder Fr. Varkey declared Katarath a servant of God. The ceremony began with the representatives of the Vaikom Thottakam Parish and the ashram carrying the portrait of the Servant of God to the altar. The postulator was Fr. Joseph led the prayers.
