Palakkad: Famed prayer publisher Fr. Xavier Khan Vattayil announced that dedicated prayer service would take place until the 31st of this month, to combat Corona Virus. Services performed at the Attappady Sehion Retreat Center will be broadcasted live on social media from 12 noon to 2 pm, he said this in a video message.
He reminded all those who could, especially missionaries and laity around the world, to pray wherever they could. The service will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. The time period from 3.00 pm to 3.30 pm will be reserved for the divine mercy chaplet. He said that it is the duty of every believer to depend on prayer for those who fight against the coronavirus worldwide. The video also highlights the importance of prayer. A live telecast of the service is also being broadcasted on Shekinah Television. Shekinah airs on Channel 512 on Kerala Vision.
