The nuns in Franciscan Clarist Congregation (FCC) are preparing themselves to witness one among the most divine moment of beatifying Sr. Rani Maria, an Indian Syro-Malabar professed religious and a social worker in the Franciscan Clarist Congregation in the Diocese of Indore, who was vocal in matters of social justice, which led to her death in the hands of those who were opposed to her efforts in helping the poor and downtrodden, which is going to be held on November 4, 2017. All the convents and institutions of FCC have started offering special prayers and fasting for 10days, which began from October 26, to welcome the day of Sr. Rani Maria’s beatification with holiness and divinity.
Special prayers, Holy Mass, Blessed Sacrament of Adoration, Thanksgiving prayers, will be taking place in all the houses of FCC, on November 4, 2017, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The beatification ceremony is expected to take place near St. Francis Assisi Cathedral, at the ground of St. Paul Higher Secondary School, Indore.
More than 50 Cardinals are expected to join the ceremony on the day, which may long till 3hrs. Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan and many other political and religious dignitaries will be joining this divine ceremony on 4th November, 2017.
