London: The world-renowned evangelist Rev. Fr. Franklin Graham banned in the UK. The series of lectures that have taken place in different parts of the country has been suspended following a lawsuit filed by gay organizations demanding that Franklin Graham, who preached at various forums that homosexuality was a gross sin, beheaded. Authorities have canceled the lecture series in Glasgow, Sheffield and Liverpool following pressure from LGBT organizations.
Word proclamation meetings were held in nine major UK cities in May. All of this has to be canceled. Graham has been named in the ‘Hate Speaker’ category. Catholic Family Voice Organization spokeswoman Pauline Gallagher responded that she was deeply saddened by the action. At the same time, various evangelical organizations have begun praying for the success of Franklin’s UK visit. The Rev is the son of world-renowned evangelist Billy Graham.
