Mar Mathew Anikuzhikkatil’s funeral will take place on May 5. Major Archbishop Cardinal Mar George Alencherry will officiate the service at the Vazhanthoppu Cathedral on Tuesday at 2.30 pm. The arrangements will be made in accordance with the instructions given by the government and the health department. Currently, the body is kept at Muvattupuzha Nirmala Medical Center.
Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan condoled the death of Mar Mathew Annikuzhikkadil. The Chief Minister recalled that he was an active priest in the social scene in Idukki.
