His Excellency Archbishop Mar Joseph Perumthottam of Changanassery while addressing the gathering at Assumption College Auditorium, Kerala, during the celebration of International Women’s day, conveyed the significance of gender equality in today’s world and highlighted that gender equality has always been God’s plan from the beginning of the world and thus is not a new concept.
The event was presided over by Forane President George Varkey. Assumption College Principal Dr. Sr. Amala, Social worker Kochurani Panachikal, Former International Swimmer Sumi Cyriac, Changanassery Tahsildar Mini M John, were awarded for their excellence by Mar Perumthottam.
Metropolitan Church Vicar Fr. Kurian Puthanpura, Arch eparchy Director Fr. Jose Mukulel, Assumption College Principal Dr. Sr. Amala SH, Arch eparchy President Varghese Antony, P. C. Kunjappan, Arun Thomas, addressed the gathering.
