Thodupuzha: KCBC Education Commission Secretary Joshua Mar Ignatius has said that the government will not allow minorities to violate the Constitutional rights. He was inaugurating a public meeting in the Newman College Auditorium at the State Teachers Guild State Conference.

The government is taking a stand that will harm the educational activities of the church through KER reform and legislation. About 3,000 teachers who have been appointed under the rules have not been paid for four years. It is not necessary to keep files on the table. On the contrary, the workers are being paid. He said he was not.

In a keynote address, Thrissur Archbishop Mar Andrews Thazhath delivered the keynote address. But the government is trying to change the education policy every year and expel the church from this area.

Teachers should be able to stand against this, Mar Maruthth said. Catholic Teachers Guild State President Salu Pathal presided over the meeting. He said the march to the Secretariat would be held on March 5 to address issues in the education sector.

Bishop Mar George of Mutthaikandam gave the blessing speech. Mar Mattikandam said that teachers need to have strong faith in the church and work with the church to lead the future generation to good. P.J. Joseph MLA, Mon. Varkey Atupurath and Fr. Jose Karivelikal also addressed the gathering. Rev. Dr. Stanley Kunnell, Corporate Secretary of the Diocese of Kothamangalam welcomed the gathering and Jose Antony, Treasurer of the Organization delivered the vote of thanks.
