Thiruvananthapuram: The KCBC Anti-Alcohol Commission state general secretary Fr. John Aricel said. Instead of viewing the lockdown as an opportunity to get rid of alcohol, it is no longer a matter for the government to open liquor stores and beverage outlets and offer alcohol as medicine. Alcoholics can be guided through the government’s own Emancipation Mission and Counseling. The government order should be withdrawn soon, said John Aricel.
