His Excellency Bishop Antony Mullassery of Kollam diocese while addressing the faithful during the Holy Mass as a part of the feast of St. Alphonsa, conveyed the significance of holiness. His Grace Bishop reminded the faithful that being happy is a sign of holiness and exhorted them to stay happy and holy in their lives.
As reported by catholicvox.com, His Grace Bishop Mullassery remarked that “The people who love Jesus Christ will be able to overcome sufferings only if they can feel and experience the presence of God in their struggles. And that is when one can prove that they love Jesus Christ truly.” Further, the Bishop asked the faithful to be like St. Alphonsa and noted her as an “example of love and patience even in the time of troubles.”
His Grace Bishop Mullassery concluded his remarks by encouraging the faithful to overcome their struggles with faith and asked them to live happily even in struggles, for the greater glory of Lord Almighty.
