Neyyattinkara: The Latin Catholic community’s rally became a new history as Latin Catholics lined up with white and yellow flags, blue and yellow KLCA flags, for six hours. State leaders, KLCA delegates from 12 Latin dioceses of Kerala, and Keshakkadu of the Neyyattinkara Diocese of Nedumangadu in the front row of the rally which was flagged off at the Municipal Stadium by the Vicar General of the Neyyattinkara diocese at 3 pm.
The rally lasted until 8 p.m. The public rally, which began when the rally’s flagship Akshaya Complex arrived, continued till the end of the rally. The rally became colorful as plots from different schools in the diocese and plots in the parish were rallied. The General Conference was inaugurated by Dr. Vincent Samuel, Bishop of Neyyattinkara. The function was presided over by KLCA state president Anthony Verona.
