Rome: A cartoon looking into the lives of Pope’s security guards known as the Swiss Guard. Marc DeWitt, a young man from the Canton of Zurich, is taking the Swiss Guard into his daily life. The Vatican Radio reports that the cartoon, which is now available in French, is published in the French language by a group of R Nouveau Delalande, Yvonne Bertorello, Lavrente Bidot and Clemens Bidot.
The cartoon deals with historical events, including the deaths of 147 soldiers and the firing of Saint John Paul II to save Pope Clement VII. It is estimated that the cartoon will be useful for getting to know the Swiss Guard, which is five centuries old.
