Budapest: Hungarian Prime Minister and firm Christian Viktor Orban commemorate the centenary of Pope John Paul II. He is commemorating the saint’s birthday through a Facebook and Twitter post. He wrote in Hungarian, “In memory of Pope Saint John Paul II, John Paul II was born 100 years ago today.” The post is accompanied by a picture of the Hungarian flag under the image of Saint John Paul II.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump also shared the post in the media, commemorating the saint on his birthday. The Victor Orban administration is a leadership that is deeply involved in advocating for a globally oppressed Christian community and restoring Christian values in Europe. Hungary was the first country to come to the defense of the Christians in the East.
