International study camp in Mannanath, Kerala, begins today (31st January, 2018) under the guidance and association of St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara Research Centre, Bangalore Christ University, Mannanam St. Joseph’s Ashram. His Excellency Archbishop Mar Joseph Perumthottam of Changanassery Diocese inaugurated the camp and conveyed the specialties of Marthoma Christians who practice their faith inherited to them through their traditional generations.
The inaugural function took place under the guidance of CMI Prior General Rev. Dr. Paul Achandi and the chief guest for the event was Pontifical Commission for Historical Science, President Msgr. Bernard Arthura. Pondicherry University historical studies department former president Professor K.S. Mathew presented the major research paper in the event.
Many dignitaries from different parts of the country attended the function including His Eminence Cardinal George Alencherry, the Major Archbishop of Syro-Malabar Church.
