Budapest: The persecution of Christians in Iraq has led thousands of Muslims to accept Jesus as Savior and Lord of the Mosul’s new Chaldea archdiocese, reveals. Archbishop Najeeb Mikhail Moussa said that many Muslims have found Jesus through the attacks of Christians in Iraq and that the persecution has made Christians stronger in their faith. He was speaking at the second international conference in Budapest, the Hungarian government, on the persecution of Christians worldwide. “There are very few Christians in the area that was once a Christian majority,” he said.

The Metropolitan pointed out that Islamists who are in bondage to Fundamentalism should be assisted in their emancipation. He also described the need to preserve the Christian heritage of the region’s more than two thousand years. Cardinal Peter Erdo, the Archbishop of Budapest-Estergom, said that world leaders should not be silenced as nothing happens when Christians are persecuted. Syrian Orthodox Patriarch Ignatius Ephraim II said that Christians should be given the same rights and rights as others, without discrimination as second-class citizens.

Hungarian President Viktor Orbബn said they were sowing a seed by helping the victims and receiving help from them. Hungary’s Foreign Minister Peter Czarto also revealed that other ministers had asked him to speak on the issue of religious minorities at Christian meetings during the EU summit. Oliver Dashe Doyam, Bishop of Maiduguri Diocese, described the persecution of Christians in Nigeria. Donald Trump delivered the message by greeting the conference.
