Irinjalakuda diocese in Kerala expressed their solidarity with the people in Kerala by donating 6000 usable material kits for the victims of the unprecedented floods caused by torrential rains in the southern state of Kerala. The diocese have already divided itself into three zones in order to help the flood victims rebuild their lives.
His Excellency Bishop Pauly Kannookadan of Irinjalakuda diocese remarked that the kits would be distributed to every house regardless of their religion and political, socio-economic status quo. The Bishop also exhorted the people to stand united and work actively for the reconstruction of the state.
