ISLAMABAD: Terrorist militants attacked the town of Mozimbo da Praia in the African country of Mozambique. Militants attack Christian minority cities and take control of the Islamist flag. The militants have freed the prisoners who had entered prisons, including government buildings and prisons. Bishop Luis Fernando Lisboa, who presided over the Diocese of Pemba, condemned the incident.

The bishop told the Christian organization Aid to the Church in Need that the militants were able to unleash the city as they wished, and because of the increasing number of attackers, many soldiers were trying to escape. They returned with the message that they would return. The Catholic Church is deeply concerned about the current situation. But the Church has always existed with the people. Said the Bishop. In northern Mozambique, where political insecurity exists, so far only rural areas have been targeted by Islamic extremists. But now it has spread to cities.
