Panvel, Mumbai: The Diocese of Kalyan’s Junior Priests’ Meet was held from 17th September to 19th September, 2019 at the Animation and Renewal Center, Panvel. The meet is organised annually for all the priests of the diocese who have completed less than seven years of service, since ordination.
A total of eighteen priests who serve in various parishes and other departments of the Eparchy of Kalyan attended the meet.
The meeting consisted of various classes conducted by resource persons. Msgr Emmanuel Kadankavil, the Proto-Cyncellus (Vicar General) of the Diocese met the priests and shared his thoughts on priesthood and spirituality. Apart from the Vicar General, His Excellency Bishop Mar Thomas Elavanal, also met the priests and spoke to them about selfless service and the importance of priesthood in the diocese, especially in the lives of the members of the diocese.
