The oath taking ceremony for the Kalyan Diocesan Youth Executives (DEXCOs) was held on 2 July at the Bishop’s House, Powai. H. E. Mar Thomas Elavanal, the bishop of Kalyan Eparchy was the chief guest for the ceremony. The event was also graced by Msgr. Rev. Fr. Francis Eluvathingal, Chancellor Rev. Fr. Joju Arackal, Rev. Fr. George Vattamattam, KEY Director Fr. Franklin Joseph, KEY Asst. Director Fr. Jojit Johny and the family members of the DEXCOs.
The welcome address was given by Fr. Franklin Joseph and the keynote address was given by H. E. Mar Thomas Elavanal. The oath taking was led by Msgr. Rev. Fr. Francis Eluvathingal. The feast of St. Thomas was also celebrated by cutting a cake, where the DEXCOs presented a festal greeting card to the bishop.
The ex- DEXCOs shared their experiences which proved as a guiding light for the new executives. The vote of thanks was given by Fr. Jojit Johny. The meeting ended with a prayer and dinner.
