Kalyan Mathrusangam celebrated International Women’s Day on 8th March, at Immaculate Conception Church, Dombivali. Mothers from across the diocese attended the day which included an enlightening seminar by Mrs Nisha Jose, Counselling psychologist, trainer and columnist. The event was graced by his excellency Bishop Mar Thomas Elavanal, who shared his insightful words with the driving force of the diocese- the Kalyan Mathrusangam.
cultural programs were held by Mothers from St. Bartholomew Church, Kalyan (E), Sacred Heart Church, Bhayandar, Infant Jesus Church, Kharghar, and St. Antony’s Church, Bhosari, Pune. Mothers who contributed to one-act playwriting and other contests held during the year 2019-20 were felicitated by Mrs. Nisha Jose and His excellency. Various prizes were awarded to mothers spontaneously, on account of International Women’s Day. The event was attended by more than 250 mothers from across the Diocese of Kalyan.
