Gyaansaathi, a project of Karunya Trust completed 11 years of its presence in Govandi Dumping Grounds. At the 11th anniversary celebrations, H. E. Mar Thomas Elavanal, the Chairman of Karunya Trust blessed the Balwadi center and graced with his presence at the celebrations.
Apart from the blessing of the new center, the program list for the day also included various cultural programmes that were performed by the children included in the project. Karunya Trust Board of Trustees members Msgr. Francis Eluvathingal and Fr. Joju Arackal were also a part of the celebrations.
Karunya Trust is a multi- religious non-governmental organization established in May 1998 with a vision to spread the gospel values of love, freedom and peace. Gyaansaathi is a project that works to educate children, thereby ensuring a holistic development for the children.
