Kerala Catholic Bishops Council (KCBC) has gathered 5 crores so far for the Ockhi relief fund, with the help of many parishes and organizations of the Catholic Church in Kerala. KCBC donated this amount of money to ‘Justice, Peace and Development (JPD)Commission of KCBC.’
JPD has scheduled their plans to spend this amount of money properly on the needy ones. This plans would be executed under the guidance of His Grace Archbishop Thomas Kuriloos of Thiruvalla, His Excellency Archbishop Joseph Kalathiparambil of Verapoly, His Grace Bishop Mar Jose Porunnedom of Mananthavady.
This amount of money would be used to help the Ockhi victims of Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Allapey, Kochi, Varapuzha dioceses.
