Temperance Sunday will be observed by all the Catholics in Kerala under the guidance of Kerala Catholic Bishops’ Council Temperance Commission, on 18th February (Sunday), 2018. Looking at the growing relevance of alcohol in an individual’s life nowadays, the KCBC has urged the faithful to keep 18th February as a day of abstinence from alcoholic drink.
A circular made by His Excellency Bishop Remigiose Inchananiyil, Chairman of Temperance Commission, Vice Chairmen His Grace Bishop Joshua Mar Ignathios and His Excellency Bishop Christudas R, will be read out in all the Syro-Malabar, Malankara, Latin Churches, during the Holy Mass on Sunday.
