Kottayam: Cardinal Mar George Alancherry, Major Archbishop of Syro-Malabar Church, urged young people to take on the challenges of changing society. He was speaking after inaugurating the KCYM State Joint Syndicate Meeting at POC. He also released a mobile app created by the KCYM State Council to take KCYM’s operations to a higher level and facilitate coordination across the unit. KCYM State President Bijo P. Babu presided over the function.
At the meeting, 2020 state office bearers took office and 2020 state syndicate members were sworn in. In the year 2019, KCYM honored the office bearers who led the State Council. KCBC Deputy General Secretary Fr. Varghese Vallikattu, State Director Fr. Stephen Thomas Chalakara, General Secretary Christy Chakkalakkal, Syriac Charikkadan, Jason Chakkadeath, Limina George, Lijesh Martin, Anoop Punnappuzha, Abini Paul, Sibin Samuel, Denia CC Jayan and Sister Rose Merrin.
