Fr. Joseph Pazhekadavan, a Keralite priest from Salesian Don Bosco Congregation passed away in an accident took place in Assam. He was 87 years old. The funeral service will take place on 9th February, 2018 at 10:00 am at Gohatti Don Bosco Provincial House.
The accident took place on 7th February, 2018, at Donga village, Assam, just before reaching Don Bosco, Baithalangso as he was driving the car. He was immediately taken to the Medical Centre at Donka but was referred to a specialty hospital at Guwahati. He was brought to St. John’s Hospital, Guwahati where the doctor declared him dead. A Requiem Mass will be held on 8th February at 6:00 pm in the Provincial House, Guwahati.
He has been serving as a missionary for the past 50 years in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland and has established many schools, churches, boarding schools.
