July 9th 2018: The workshop on photography conducted by Mr. Mathew Joseph at the Bishop’s House, Powai, was indeed a session worth to be attended. The workshop started at sharp 9 am which was participated by 14 members of the Kalyan Media Cell (KMC). Even though the participants were an amateur at the beginning of the day they left a lot of knowledge on the basics of professional photography and we also developed confidence through his interactive session. In the session, he also made sure that all had the equal opportunities to develop their skills with him. The participants consisted of new members as well as some of the existing members of KMC who actively participated in all the activities. Few testimonials of the participants follows as,
“The camp was good. The opportunity given to take pictures and finding of errors has made to analyze the mistakes that one makes.”- by Noel George.
The participants were given chance to work in groups as well as individually through which they could brush up their skills as well as learn from their mistakes. The participants had an actual experience of what it takes to capture a perfect picture. The camp was a great success. During the camp, Fr. Franklin and Mr. Matthew gave us various information about the works of KMC. The camp came to an end at 5pm with a group photo. The participants were sure that they can do their best in future towards being a good photographer who may come in handy for the works of KMC’s.
