Offering boxes of St. Amma Theresia Church in Konniyoor have been ransacked by damaging the doors of the Church. The theft was found when the altar person Yeshudasan noticed the damaged door at early morning 6: 30 am before opening the Church for the Holy Mass. The Holy Eucharist and other liturgical and sacramental things are all kept safe without any destruction.
Priest and nuns of the church highlight that they heard no disturbing noise at night from the Church. The police investigation has begun under the guidance of Kattakada S H O Vijayaraghavan. The Church committee has claimed a loss of one and a half lakh.
