Kuzhikkattussery: The national celebration and Thanksgiving sacrifice in India for the consecration of Saint Mary Thresia will happen on 16th November 2019. Major Archbishop Cardinal Mar George Alencherry will be the chief priest of the Syro-Malabar Qurbana. Fifty bishops will take part in this event. Cardinal Mar Baselios Cleemis will deliver the homily. Apostolic Nuncio Archbishop Dr. Jambatista Dikwatro will deliver the blessing speech.
The National Conference presided over by Cardinal Mar George Alencherry will be inaugurated by CBCI President Cardinal Oswald Gracias and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Union Minister for State Muralidharan, State Ministers Prof C. Raveendranath, VS Sunil Kumar, AC Moideen, MPs Benny Behanan, and T.N. Prathapan, Hibi Eden, and MLAs V.R. Sunil Kumar, B.D. Devasi, Prof. K.U. Arunan, E.T. Tyson, Roji M. Of John and V.D. Satheesan and others. Thousands of people from all over the country, from Italy, Germany, the United States, Canada, Africa, Ghana, Kenya, South Sudan, and the Ecuador of Latin America, from around the world will attend the event.
Pilgrims and guests are provided with large lounges and seating facilities. Police Officers, medical team, 1,500 volunteers, fire brigade and police force will be present at the event, led by Disaster Management District Project Officer Naushaba. There will be live broadcasts on four channels, including Shekinah.
