Christmas of 2016 was brought in by the Christian folks from all around the world with great joy and festivity. His Holiness Pope Francis, on this special day, addressed the world with the Urbi et Orbi; the traditional Christmas message of the Pope, sending out the message of world peace and unity.
Pope Francis’ message, revolved around the idea of curbing violence and perpetrating love and peace among and within nations, to the faithful who are gathered at the St. Peter’s Square. “Peace to those who have lost a person dear to them as a result of brutal acts of terrorism, and to those who have sown fear and death into the hearts of so many countries and cities”, says the Pope Francis.
His Holiness Pope Francis concluded the message by reaching out and comforting the terror victims through his Christmas message by saying, “On this day of joy, we are all called to contemplate the Child Jesus, who gives hope once again to every person on the face of the earth. By his grace, let us with our voices and our actions give witness to solidarity and peace. Merry Christmas to all!”
