Bangkok: Pope Francis urges us to remember Christ on the Cross whenever we are sickened by sickness, human suffering, and death. The Pope was delivering a message to those involved in a hospital in the name of St. Louis in Bangkok. The Pope reminded that those who are afflicted with Christ’s cross in times of illness and pain will receive the power of His cross in their weaknesses and wounds.
He humiliated himself in his afflictions, but did not hide, He endured every moment of humiliation, persecution, and pain in the presence of men, with men, as men. May we also pray for the mercy of the Virgin Mother.
