His Excellency Bishop Thomas Dabre of Poona, while addressing the people gathered at Animation Renewal Centre (ARC) for the very much awaited event “EVA- Global Symposium on Life”, conveyed that life should be received with gratitude and welcomed with happiness. His Grace Bishop Thomas Dabre enlightened the people with the message to promote the sanctity of life and asked them to help a life to grow and to develop.
His Excellency Bishop Thomas Dabre remarked that “Earlier, humanity has never achieved such tremendous things like today, have never attained happiness like today but at the same time, life has never been so threatened like today.” Further, His Grace added, “We are not the owners of life, God is the master of Life and so the creator of life can never order to destroy life and that is why Jesus Christ said, “I am the way, the truth and the life. We need to understand that Jesus is the promoter of life and so it is not just to live a life but to live it well, live it fully, live it with dignity, is what matters.”
His Grace Bishop Dabre concluded his remarks by exhorting the gathered galaxy of intellectuals to promote the sanctity and dignity of life and warned to be against the culture of death by not being a slave to the present utilitarian and functional society, which uses people for their sake.
