Kakkanadu: Major Archbishop Cardinal Mar George Alencherry has released the 32nd research book, The Ax of Judas Thomas in Context, from the Liturgical Research Center. The launch was held at Mount St. Thomas, the headquarters of the Syro-Malabar Church.
Justice Abraham Mathew accepted the first copy. Cardinal Mar Alencherry hoped that this book would provide a basis for the study of the history of Mar Thoma Christians.
The Ax of Judas Thomas is a third-century work on the visit to India of the Christian disciple Thomas. This book is a collection of papers presented at a seminar organized by the Syromalabar Liturgical Research Center on January 22-24, 2019. The Rev. Lieutenant Research Center Director.
