Fr. Daniel Poovennathil, director of Mount Carmel Retreat Centre while leading the Thodupuzha Bible convention ‘Daivaswaram 2018 (Voice of God)’ asked the faithful to live in the word of God. Fr. Daniel highlighted the need and urgency to obey the word of God and to be closer to the Lord Almighty, in this period of time.
As reported by lifedayonline.com, Fr. Daniel remarked that “People should not fight against each other but should fight against Satan and all evils in order to protect their life and family. The weapon of Satan is depression with bad regrets.” Further, he added, “We will be able to destroy the Satan’s weapon through prayer and eternal light. Those who go away from the Lord Almighty will have no peace in their families.”
The convention will begin after the Holy Mass and will conclude at 8:30 pm every day. Msgr. George Oliyapuram, Msgr. Cheriyan Kanjirakompil, Chancellor Fr. Jose Pullopillil, Prayer group director Fr. George Kurishumoottil, will be the chief celebrants for the Holy Mass on the days of convention respectively.
