Holy Father Pope Francis while addressing the pilgrims gathered at St. Peter’s Square, Vatican, conveyed the significance of Christian hope and focused his attention on teaching the virtue of hope, offering his guidance and encouragement especially to the young faithful present. His Holiness exhorted the faithful to stand firm in hope and to never lose heart.
As reported by Vatican radio, Holy Father Pope Francis exhorted that “Never yield to the negativity that tears things and people down, but keep building, try to make this world conform ever more fully to God’s plan.” Further, His Holiness added, “Never despair, and build on who you are; if you are on the ground, get up and if you are sitting, get up and go and if boredom paralyzes you, fill your life with good works.”
His Holiness concluded the general audience meet by encouraging the faithful present to dream more and asked them to live, love and believe and to be beacons of hope.
