Announcement of the Major Archeopiscopal Pilgrimage of the Holy Cross Forane Church in Wayanad will take place on April 25. Major Archbishop Mar George Alencherry will preside over the preaching ceremony at Mount St. Thomas, Kakkanad on Saturday at 10 am. Believers wouldn’t attend the event because they are to stay in homes.
The broadcast will be live from 10 am on Shekinah Television (Channel No. 512) and Malanad Channel (876). Major Archy Episcopal status is the highest privilege granted to the Church in the Eastern churches. The special privilege is given to the historical importance of the church and the request of the believing community.
