Mavelikkara: The celebration of the reunion of the Malankara Church with the Catholic Church on 20 September 1930, under the leadership of God’s Servant Mar Ivanios Metropolitan, will be held from 18 to 21 September at Mar Ivanios Nagar, Mavelikkara. Ecclesiastical meeting was held at the Bishops’ House, Amalagiri. The Malankara Syrian Catholic Church inaugurated Major Archbishop Cardinal Baselios Cleemis Catholicos.
Katolikawa said that the celebrations should be held with the utmost dignity and humility, based on the vision of the patriarch Mar Ivanios. He handed over the logo to former DGP Jacob Punnoose and released it.
