His Eminence Cardinal Mar George Alencherry, Major Archbishop of Syro-Malabar Catholic Church released the Malayalam autobiography of Fr. Tom Uzhunnalil at Mount St. Thomas, Kakkanad. Fr. Tom Uzhunnalil, Keralite Catholic priest who was rescued from the captivity of terrorists in Yemen, named his book ‘ Daivakripayal’ (By God’s grace).
The book narrates the life of Fr. Uzhunnalil from his childhood to his formation in the Salesian congregation, to his missionary work in Yemen. It conveys in detail his abduction. The book is published by Vennala Don Bosco Publications and it was first handed over to PSC Former Chairman Dr. K.S Radhakrishnan.
