Thiruvananthapuram, Mar Joseph Peruntottam Changanacherry asked to see a permanent solution to stop discrimination against minority welfare schemes, while All Mar Mathew Arakkal, Mar Joseph kallarannatt All Pala, Kottayam Archdiocese Auxiliary Bishop Thomas on the floor and submitted by Vijayan. The central government spends more than Rs 4700 crores a year on minorities, but the result is not for the Christians, one of the minority communities in Kerala. The situation has changed and the bishops have called for equal justice.

The present PSC has called for a permanent solution to the problems faced by the agriculture sector in the hill country and Kuttanadu. The bishops requested that the notifications be amended and incorporated into the reservation.
