Istanbul: The head of the Apostolic Vicariate called Anatolio, Bishop Pavlow Bisethi claims that Turkey is the most persistent platform for the flourishing of Catholic missionary activities. He also stated that the country does not offer many conversions, yet they are keen to know more about Christ and Christianity. He speaks that the essence of missionary activities and evangelisation is thus proved fruitful in the country. He said this in a candid interview with the Milan based magazine, Famiglia Cristiana.
He father said that Turkey is home to multiple spirited Christians. However, these faithful lack enough support in terms of vocations and clergymen to aid them in their spiritual life. The Islamic country houses just 54 parishes in all.
