His Excellency Bishop Mar Pauly Kannookadan of Iringalakuda Diocese, while addressing the spiritual gathering of mothers for the International Mathruvedi Meeting, conveyed that a mother should be the protector of life and the light of her family. His Grace Mar Kannookadan highlighted that for the members of Mathruvedi , Jesus Christ should be their way and the Gospel should be their vision.
As reported by lifeonline.com, His Grace Mar Pauly Kannookadan remarked that “In today’s world where there is no value given to a mother’s womb, where the culture of death or dumping is increasing day by day, a mother should be the salt of the society and she should be the light of the world.” Further, His Excellency Bishop added, “In this selfish world, a mother should be capable of practicing and spreading the culture and value of generosity, compassion, mercifulness.”
His Excellency Bishop Mar Poly Kannookadan of Iringalakuda inaugurated the function at Kallettumkara Pacs, Iringalakuda Pastoral center, under the guidance of International Mathruvedi President Delcy Lukachan.
