His Excellency Mar George Madathikadathil of Kothamangalm while addressing the gathering at Moovattupuzha Nest Pastoral Centre on International Women’s day conveyed that mothers should bear witness to Jesus Christ through their exemplary life. The event was presided over by Mathruvedhi President of Eparchy, Mrs. Molly George. Eparchy Director Fr. Sebastian Valiyathazhathu offered his keynote speech.
Around 500 representatives from various parishes of the diocese participated in the event. Syro-Malabar Women’s Commission secretary Delcy Lukochan, Director Secretary Bindhu Valamattam, Mathruvedhi Eparchy Animator Sr. Ann Tom, addressed the gathering.
A pro-life exhibition was also carried out during the event under the guidance of Women’s Commission and Jesus Youth.
