Angamali: Msgr. Jose Chirackal Ayirukkaran will swear in as the Auxiliary Bishop of the Tura Diocese of Meghalaya. The investiture ceremony will be held at the Sacred Heart Church, Tura; tomorrow at 10 am. The ceremony will be officiated by Bishop of Tura Diocese, Mar Andrew R Marak.
Bishop Chirackal is a member of the Karukutty Church under the Ernakulam-Angamaly Archdiocese. The Tura diocese is spread across five districts involving 44 churches and approximately 3.10 Lakh Catholic population.
