Dr. Kevin Quadros, Gynaecologist & Obstetrician in Holy Spirit Hospital, Mumbai, presented his research paper on ‘Natural Procreative Technologies’ under the session of ‘Procreative Technologies’ for “EVA- Global Symposium on Life”, on 1st December, 2017. Dr. Kevin explained about NaPro Technology (Natural Procreative technologies), a new women’s health science that monitors and maintains a woman’s reproductive and gynaecological health. He termed NaPro as a stewardship over one’s body and highlighted that this technology can be used in variety of reproductive situations- avoiding pregnancy, achieving pregnancy, breastfeeding and infertility. He said that NaPro provides answers for reproductive issues in a lifetime.
Dr. Kevin remarked that “NaPro is patient-specific and freedom-enhancing, to make the female body the focus of the woman’ patient education and of her diagnosis or treatment and prevention plans. NaPro is three times more effective than IVF and its all about knowing what is wrong. NaPro is family friendly and has a positive impact on marriage and builds healthy marriages and stronger families, especially those suffering from PMS or PPD.” Further, he added, “NaPro is relevant to Pro-Life Movement since it a good news for everybody and is a real Pro-Life alternative to IVF and has real chances of success.”
Dr. Kevin concluded his presentation by highlighting the significance of fertility care and love among the married couples. He reminded that fertility care builds a real culture of respect for life from the beginning – preconception.
