His Excellency Archbishop Michel Aupetit of Paris said that human dignity in society can only be preserved through the church’s Voice and Wisdom.
As reported by the Catholic News Agency, the Archbishop said that although the church in the West appears as an old and shaken institution stuck in scandals going along the myth of Progress, the church is beautiful in the face of her saints, in the immense mantle of tenderness she showers over the world, especially over the neglected men. His Excellency Jean-Pierre Batut, Bishop of Blois exclaimed that the moral discussion has been diverted by relativism and its impossible to understand Church’s teaching in its fullness without understanding the common dignity of Human Nature. The bishop wrote that Natural law must be understood as the moral framework of Humanity without getting confused with the Law of Nature.
