Holy Father Pope Francis concluded his Pastoral Visit to the cities of Cesena and Bologna with a Holy Mass at the Dall’Ara Stadium of Bologna. While addressing the pilgrims gathered in Bologna, His Holiness reflected on the Word of God and conveyed that the Word of God makes our hearts burn within us, because it makes us feel loved and consoled by the Lord. His Holiness also explained about the significance of repentance and dialogue in the life of a faithful, which will lead them more closer to the Lord Almighty.
As reported by Vatican radio, Holy Father Pope Francis remarked that “The Word of God penetrates into the heart of each one of us but it is also a word that calls us back to a relationship between the Father and his sons.” Further, His Holiness added, “As in the family, so in the society and in the Church, there is a need for encounter and so never reject encounter, dialogue and never give up on seeking new paths to walk together.”
His Holiness concluded his homily by encouraging the faithful to always remember the Word, that points out the way of humble journeying, the Bread, which is the starting point of everything and the poor, those who are spiritually impoverished.
