Kampala: Christian Channel has launched an experimental broadcast to bring the Ugandan community closer to Christ. UCTTV (Uganda Catholic TV) has been broadcasting around 60km in the Greater Kampala region as a signal checker before it can be broadcast nationwide. According to Fr. Joseph Franzeli made this statement in a statement released on Monday.
UCTV will be available in other parts of the country only after months of experimental screening. The Christian community in the country has been raising funds for the past two years to make UCTV what Uganda calls the next phase of evangelism. The Ugandan Episcopal Conference was organized by Fr. Francesley thanked him. With the launch of a full-fledged UCTV broadcast, the Christian community in the country has been waiting for years.
