Abuja: The reason for the death of seminary student Michael Nadi, who was found abducted and murdered in the African country of Nigeria, has been revealed. The Nigerian newspaper Daily Sun reports that the murderer, Mohammed Mustafa, has revealed in prison that Michael was killed because of his constant proclamation of Christ despite being bound. He made the disclosure in a telephone interview with the permission of the jail authorities.
“Michael was preaching the gospel of Christ without fear when he was in bondage. Michael looked at me in the face in the wrong way. “We have a lot of people here,” said Mohammed Mustafa, a 26-year-old leader of the gang. With the revelation, it is clear that Michael’s death was martyrdom.
About ten o’clock on the night of January 8, armed men attacked the Good Shepherd Major Seminary and shot and killed the students. Michael’s body was found on February 1, although three of the kidnapped, escaped with serious injuries. According to a recent report by the Christian charity organization, Open Doors, Nigeria ranks 12th on the list of countries with the highest number of Christian persecution cases.
