His Lordship Cardinal Leonardo Sandri, prefect of the Congregation for the Oriental Churches in the Roman Curia, happened to meet the Youth of Ukraine during his visit to the conflict based country. While addressing the young minds, His Eminence notified them to be courageous and asked them to trust in the Lord even in the failing situations and challenges they face in the country.
As reported by the Catholic News Agency, His Eminence Cardinal Sandri emphasized that “Your journey is the right attitude of the heart and of life, and it’s also the most rational that we walk with the mind, learning to study and reflect, cultivating intelligence and learning to discern what happens around us in the world.”
His Lordship Cardinal Sandri also described the situation with life of Mother Mary, who showed us the example to care for others and to always reach out to those people who are in need to cheer up them with your hope and Faith. His Eminence concluded by encouraging the faithful to be loyal to God and trust in Him because the Lord Almighty always wants His child to go where He invites.
