Mandya: A nuns’ hospital in Mandya, Karnataka, has been attacked for allegedly converting. The attack took place at the Sanjo Hospital in Mandya of Kothamangalam-based Medical Sisters of St. Joseph.
The attackers were accused of converting to Christianity by forcibly seizing Bibles, crosses and other spiritual books that are preserved in all Christian institutions. The nun community reported that about 30 militants stormed into the PRO’s room and brutally assaulted him. The conspiracy in the matter makes it clear that local media personnel, including journalists, have arrived at the exact time of the incident.
The hospital authorities have also revealed other evidence that indicates the conspiracy. Authorities say the man was admitted to the hospital the next day despite his illness and was discharged the next day. The Mandya incident is regarded as the last example of an organized attack on Christian institutions.
