His Excellency Bishop Samuel Irenios, auxiliary Bishop of the Major Archieparchy of Trivandrum, while addressing the faithful gathered at St. Peter’s Jacobite Cathedral Hall, Punnan road for the annual union convention conveyed the significance of opening the Holy Book with interest and spirituality. His Grace Bishop Samuel highlighted that opening the Holy Book with interest is a heavenly act and only if we live according to the heavenly message, we will be able to get heavenly messages further in life.

As reported by pravachakasabdam.com, His Excellency Bishop Samuel remarked that “Heaven is opened to provide us with everything we need and thus we should respond to the heavenly messages that we receive, there are things which we don’t understand in life and even from children we do get messages. When we walk together with our fellow beings, we will be able to hear their cries and sorrows.” Further, His Grace Bishop added, “There are many people who walk alone, who are lonely in this journey of life, we should take care of those who are lonely in life.”
